Ross: Didn't you ever read Lord of the Rings in high school?
Joey: No I was having sex in high school!
I've read LOTR at least 3 times in high school. More in middle school. Just thought I'd share.
| Yay for money. The probelem is now that I have it I'm spending it. But wisely. I was going to finally buy Rocky Horror Picture Show on dvd but instead I decided to invest in a set of stamp letters. It's so expensive to keep buying sticker letters because you always use up a letter and the set is basicly no good. So I bought stamps. Is it bad that I think the guy at Dollar General is so hot that I try to find excuses to go there? But of course he's probably 20-something and I have no chance. All the good guys are too old for me. Oh well enough about boys. They are nothing but trouble to me. Watched The Crow and Slackers yesterday. The Crow was good. Kinda sweet in a twisted way. Slackers... Um I laughed out loud three times maybe. Typical teen comedy. Haven't seen Devon Sawa in a while though. Well I re-discovered the American past time of tanning in your back yard. It's so much cheaper! Not trying to get "navajo" dark though. Just not pasty. Well I have to go water the plants before I pick up my mother. Cheerio!
Thanks Ducey. A gold star to you for saying the smartest thing I've heard in awhile.
| I'm in a dark mood tonight (but when am I not) so I rented The Crow. Not bad so far. Anyway I've determined that my hair is now longer than it has ever been. I always used to get my hair cut short (once even shorter than most boys) so having it this long is weird. I didn't even notice until I almost strangled myself on my ponytail. I can even tie it in a not under my chin. Well beside that I've made two new pages for my scrapbook this evening. I don't know why it takes me so long to make a simple page. I guess I just want it to be perfect so I can hold onto those memories forever. In some cases they are all I have left of some people and things. I found pictures from 5th grade when I was sorting photos. We've all changed so much since then. It's funny how back then the biggest problems I faced was figuring out how to do something bad without getting put on "The Wall." Then I made a big jump when I hit middle school. I stopped playing my beloved kickball and basketball. I actually started to like shopping. I started to have friends that were girls. I stopped being a tomboy. I joined cheerleading and gymnastics and took dance. Things stopped being "for fun", because we had to prove ourselves to the "popular" kids. My "sadness" hit in sixth grade and hasn't really gone away. It just lingers in the shadows and comes out when I'm alone. Then there was another big jump when I hit high school. I stopped caring about those other people and started to do the things I liked. Sadly softball (*tear*) and volleyball had to be sacrificed because I ran out of time but I got happier, sort of. I just wonder what kind of things college will bring for me. I've decided to apply to Dickinson State. I know they'll take me. It's just a matter of money. It's too far away to visit which kinda bums me out but from all the things I've read and all the pictures I've seen it looks perfect. Yes I'll be poor my first year but then after I've been there awhile I can declare residency in North Dakota and it will be cheeper than Kent. So yeah, I'm looking forward to my future and looking forward to close my past in the pages of my scrapbook. | | |
| "Winning isn't winning unless you get something out of it."
Does anyone know how to amputate feet? I was late for work this morning because someone took the car and didn't tell me so I had to RUN to work. I was still late and when I got there I discovered that my feet had been torn open in many place by the rocks I ran over and blisters from my shoes. So needless to say I'm in pain. Plus I was late and I have NEVER been late before. It gave me that sick feeling in my stomach like you get when you know you've just hit something with your car. Plus then I had to be miserable all day because I had to be there for 6 hours. I wrote my boss a not saying how sorry I was for being late. She wasn't there today and never would of known otherwise. Was that honest or stupid? Probably stupid but it doesn't matter because she gives the same review to everyone. It sucks when you get the same numbers as the guy who just sits behind the desk and reads his book when I actually get up and play with the kids and clean the cafe like we're supposed to. Oh but I have determined that I will never teach elementary school. WAY TOO needy. But anyway payday is tomorrow so I can get some more pictures developed and pick up some scrapbook supplies. Adios Amigos (Amigas)! And remember, If you have dreams of becoming an elementary school principal, don't choke someone with your flabby legs!
